Repair Technician

Mechanics with State of MI certification and experience in any or all phases of diesel engine and heavy duty truck and trailer repairs. CDL license is not required but is a big plus. Problem trouble shooting and resolution, mechanical repairs, automotive electrical diagnosis and repair, drivetrain (transmission, clutch, axle, etc.) Experience with CAT, Cummins, Eaton Fuller, Dana Spicer, Rockwell Meritor, etc. components very helpful.

Reefer Peterbilt Romulus is looking to fill multiple second shift Parts Counter positions.

Responsibilities

  • Selling parts retail and wholesale to all available customers over the counter, through the service department, and over the telephone.
  • Identify parts utilizing electronic, internet based parts catalogs
  • Pull purchased parts from stock
  • Identify parts availability, locate, and submit orders for any parts not in stock to fulfill orders in quickest way possible
  • Constant tracking of all parts orders
  • Contribute to top productivity and efficiency in the shop through quick location of needed parts

Qualifications

  • Must have ability to learn and use multiple internet based parts catalogs and systems

I.T Field Tech

Reefer Peterbilt is looking to grow our I.T Department! As an I.T Field Tech, you will be the primary working as technical support for all the employees needs throughout Reefer Peterbilt.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and suggests hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
  • Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives on users’ premises.
  • Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
  • Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users.
  • Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e- mail or in-person communication.
  • Refers major hardware problems to I.T Administrator personnel for correction.
  • Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
